Live your most colorful life, with coaching!

What is coaching?

Coaching is a partnership between the client and a trained professional coach.

The client comes to the coaching partnership for support in changing habits, behaviors and attitudes. They approach coaching with curiosity and willingness to experiment with “What if …?” and “Who do I choose to be?”

The coach comes to the coaching partnership with appropriate training, belief that the client is naturally creative, resourceful and whole, and with supportive listening and questioning that helps the client find the strategies and solutions that come from within themselves.

How can coaching benefit you?

In the organizing arena, coaching supports your organizing skills and self-reliance. You can learn what stands in your way of maintaining systems and solutions, and shift your perspective from “I can’t” to “I choose to.” If you’re stymied by perfectionism, coaching can help you get moving and successfully attain “good enough.” If you feel stuck by indecision, coaching can help you move from thought to action.

In the ADHD arena, coaching supports you in identifying how ADHD affects your life and how you can create a life that fits. You’ll learn which executive function “muscles” are weak and how to strengthen them. ADHD coaching helps you become more aware of your thoughts (positive and negative), helps you engage with actions, evaluate their effectiveness, and achieve your goals in life.

Coaching helps you with almost any life changes you choose. I am trained in organizing and ADHD coaching, but I can coach your “lifestyle” goals as well (life challenges, dietary changes, parenting concerns …).
